Geography 490 |
This course is designed to function as the capstone course for Geography majors. Students successfully completing this course will be able to demonstrate the competency in the research and communication skills common among geography graduates.
Catalog Description: Preparation of a research proposal and writing of a senior paper under close faculty supervision.
The student will write a research paper that demonstrates their ability to think and communicate as a geographer. The course may also include some professionalization activities and some assessment activities, such as portfolio evaluation.
