Career Center Log-in Instructions
Career Center Online Registration Process forFall 2009
- You need to register first if you …
- have been using a guest password with view-only privileges, OR
- are new to onlline career services
Do the following to register (this is a one-time only process):
1. Go to www.csun.edu/career
2. Choose the STUDENTS: Find Jobs & Internships tab
3. Choose the LOG-IN in the My Career Center red box
4. Go to Option 2 and click on the link to http://csun-csm.symplicity.com/
5. Choose for students/alumni
6. Clink on the REGISTER button first
7. A new log-in screen will appear.
8. Log-in using your CSUN email address and this password: sp09 (lower case)
9. Click GO
10. Complete the STUDENT REGISTRATION FORM
11. Click SUBMIT after completing the registration form
12. Check your email - A welcome message with a unique system generated
password will be sent to your email address.
13. For future logins use the http://csun-csm.symplicity.com/ web address.
14. The first time you log-in to My Career Center with the assigned
password, you will be able to change it to a personal password.
Update your personal or academic information by clicking on the Profile Tab.
After Registering on My Career Center you will be able to:
- Locate a Work-Study or part-time job on-campus
- Find JOBS, Internship, Fellowships, and Research Opportunities
- Upload our resume and apply for jobs online
- Schedule campus interviews – held at the Career Center
- Receive periodic emails about exciting career events, speakers, or jobs
- Learn more about specific organizations at company information sessions Sign-up to attend a career workshop (see the Workshop Schedule)
- Check-out which employers are attending Job Fairs
- Network with professionals or alumni in your field
- And More……………….
