OLYMPIA

—The Wikipedia article on OLYMPIA, Elis, and click on the "Archaeological Museum of Olympia"

—The PERSEUS site's basic page on Olympia. .

—A nice presentation of a visit to OLYMPIA by G. Frysinger.

—The very thorough presentation of photos by Metis at Stoa. org. (You need to have and use ActiveX to view these).

DODONA

:

–Visit the area of the sacred oracle of DODONA

—The Wikipedia article on DODONA

—A presentation by Prof. Joe STUBENRAUCH of Calvin College.

—The PERSEUS site's basic page on Dodona. Toward the bottom of the page there are many links to individual pictures of the site.

– A famous bronze statue from Dodona, as well as the famous Zeus from Sounion (or is it Poseidon??).


You should continue on from here. The more useful information you get the better. There was a Zeus temple in Athens, for example, called the Olympieion, and there was an oracle of Zeus in an Egyptian oasis called Siwah.
