The Pope, in tiara and mass vestments, attended by bishops and court. The new basilica of St. Peter's was consecrated on November 18, 1626, the 1300th anniversary of the original foundation.

The reverse type is repeated for Year 5 (Spink 980), Year 7, and Year 8 (Spink 1000). The obverse die is sometimes retouched to indicate a new regnal year.
