OBJECTIVES
  1. The student will acquire a vocabulary of nutrition and scientific terms.
  2. The student will acquire a basic knowledge of the relationship of nutrition to health.
  3. The student will evaluate his/her diet against the RDAs for age and sex and make appropriate suggestions for change when indicated.
  4. The student will acquire basic computer and internet skills.

PLEASE NOTE
  1. Each exam is 75 multiple-choice questions. Exams are not comprehensive. Please bring scan tron & # 2 pencil with good eraser to exam times. Calculators are allowed.
  2. Make up exams and diet project are accepted only after presenting signed Dr.'s excuse. Please see instructor and arrange for make up ASAP.
  3. All exams as well as diet project must be completed to obtain credit for class. Five points are removed for each class period the paper is past due. Students who are caught cheating and or plagiarizing are given F for Class and names of persons are forwarded to Chairman, Family Environmental Science.
