Welcome to the Society of Physics Students, CSUN chapter
We are looking forward to an exciting new start this Fall 2010 semester. SPS hopes to see many new faces around the halls of Live Oak and Eucalyptus, and most of all, in LO1105.
The physics department will be hosting a freshmen orientation on Thursday, July 28th, and we encourage new undergrads to meet as many people and ask as many questions as possible. The road ahead will be hard, but ultimately rewarding. Please take advantage of the help we have to offer.
Looking forward to seeing many new people there.

Temperature and polarization variations across the microwave sky include the fingerprints of quantum fluctuations in the early universe. They may soon reveal physics at unprecedented energy scales.
Investigations of the fundamental physical principles underlying Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s diseases are providing new insights into their origins and are suggesting rational strategies through which to combat their onset and progression.
