Faculty Collective-Debbie Ma

Debbie Ma

Debbie Ma is an assistant professor of psychology. Debbie earned her PhD in 2011 from the University of Chicago in Experimental Social Psychology. Her research deals with perceptions of race and the experience of race. Most of her research deals with implicit, nonconscious associations that individuals have with racial category members. Students working in my Stereotyping and Intergroup Prejudice lab are intimately involved with developing studies, collecting data, analyzing data, and presenting at conferences.
