"Bobby bunted the guys into scoring position, and I was just trying to hit something up the middle," said Cooper, a center fielder and leadoff man who is headed to Cal State Northridge next season after playing for Palomar College. "I wasn't trying to hit one out; my game is more about finding the gaps."
