Adobe Creative Cloud

Students

Adobe Creative Cloud software is now available for CSUN students at no additional cost. All Creative Cloud products (e.g. Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere, Spark, XD, and more) are available for students to download and install. Visit the Adobe Creative Cloud for Students page for more information. 

Faculty & Staff

MATLAB

Microsoft Office

Students

All CSUN students can install the Microsoft Office Suite on up to five personal devices for free. To download the software, visit the Microsoft Get Started websiteenter your CSUN email address ( ) and follow the instructions. 

Faculty & Staff

As part of a set of new Microsoft services that are now available to all CSUN faculty and staff, there are two new ways for CSUN faculty and staff to access the Office Suite: 1) from a web browser and 2) from an iPhone or iPad. To learn more, visit the New Ways to Access Microsoft Office Files webpage. As part of these services, faculty and staff can also install the Office Suite on up to five personal devices for free. myCSUNsoftware

Thanks to Campus Quality Fee funding, all enrolled students have access to myCSUNsoftware. myCSUNsoftware grants students anytime access to select software via an Internet connection from a Mac, PC, Linux, or mobile device. Visit the myCSUNsoftware Login Page and enter your CSUN user ID and password. Note: myCSUNsoftware only accepts CSUN user IDs which are composed only of letters and sometimes numbers (such as dl76674). If you don't know your user ID, visit Forgot User ID.

Security Software

Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to use up-to-date anti-virus software on personal computing devices. Anti-virus software is required on any device that connects to campus network resources. Anti-virus software protects devices from malicious software code intending to harm your system or steal private information. Visit the Software Downloads page and sign in using your CSUN user ID and password. After signing in you will have access to download anti-virus software for your computing platform (Windows and Macintosh).

Software Download

Log in with your CSUN user ID and password to access licensed software that is available to CSUN students, faculty and staff. Sharing this software or their license keys is prohibited.

Virtual Windows Computer

The Virtual Windows Computer provides students, faculty, and staff access to a variety of software and virtual computers. Users can access these virtual computers while on campus or at home, with an Internet connection from a PC, Mac, Linux, iOS, or Android device.
