Jose H. Gonzalez: Connecting the Dots to Move Forward

CSUN Recreation and Tourism faculty Jose H. Gonzalez presented at the 2019 Association for Challenge Course Technology Conference (ACCT) in February as part of the "Tech Talk Series." In a style based on the TED Talks, Gonzalez talked about how to "connect the dots to move forward" for a career in Recreation and Tourism Management. He presented with Chris Ortiz, Program Director for the Team Development Center at Shaver's Creek and instructor for the RTM Department at Penn State University. Read more

Opening Doors to Research and Representation for Students

February was a great month for opening doors to research and representation for students for Child and Adolescent Development (CADV) faculty Tissyana Camacho. Within days of being welcomed into the 5th annual ELEVATE conference where she will join a small cohort of fellows with the Penn Center for Minority Serving Institutions, she found out she is also the recipient of the American Psychological Association's SUPRE Grant on behalf of the department of CADV.
