Exams

There will be three in-class exams in addition to a final exam. Make-up exams will be given only in the case of well documented illness or major emergency or (only with permission in advance) of a major outside commitment. Be advised that (in order to be fair to all students) any make-up exam will be more difficult than the original exam. NO formula sheets are allowed for the exams, but you can use any allowed graphing calculator.

These are the TENTATIVE dates for the exams, the professor will confirm or change these during class time at least a week before the day of the test.
First midterm exam: Monday September 20th at the regular class-meeting time and place.
Second midterm exam: Monday October 25th at the regular class-meeting time and place.
Third midterm exam: Monday November 22nd at the regular class-meeting time and place.

FINAL exam: Friday December 10th, 9:00-11:00,
Location: SH 102. (Sierra Hall)

The solutions to the exams will be posted here in pdf format. To read and print these files you will need Acrobat Reader, you can get it for free here. (it is usually included in most of the browsers, so chances are you already have it)
