COVID-19 Employee Vaccination Update | March 11, 2021

Dear Campus Colleagues:

I am excited to share two COVID-19 vaccination opportunities exclusive to CSUN employees!

Both Kaiser Permanente and the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health are offering CSUN Employee Vaccination Days. These opportunities are open to both state and auxiliary employees (including student employees), regardless of county of residence, or current health care provider. Please read the information below about both opportunities, and if interested in participating, complete the registration tool ASAP. Both venues will confirm appointments for 2nd dose vaccinations at the time of the initial appointment.

Los Angeles County CSUN Employee Vaccination Day @ CSUN Campus

March 12, 2021 and

Additional Date Pending

The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health has a small number of access codes available for appointments tomorrow, March 12, 2021. If interested in this opportunity, please complete the registration link ASAP. Thereafter, based on availability, we will provide you an access code with instructions on how to schedule your own appointment.

The County has also informed us they are attempting to provide a number of COVID-19 vaccination access codes for appointments at the CSUN Vaccine Distribution Site (CSUN’s B1 and B2 parking lots) for CSUN employees the week of March 15, 2021. We do not yet know the exact date. If you are interested in this opportunity, please complete the same below registration link. If we are not able to provide you an access code for March 12, we will keep you on a list to receive any codes available for next week. Once the County confirms a date and based on availability, we will provide you an access code with instructions on how to schedule your own appointment. We anticipate a very short window to both provide you the code and have you schedule an appointment.

The County will be administering the Pfizer vaccine. Follow up appointments for the 2nd dose will be made for approximately three weeks from date of the initial injection at the same location.
