ButchartMs. Butchart, Zimbabwean teacher and artist, will describe her life growing up in Harere, the capital of Zimbabwe, and discuss the varieties of Jews and Jewish cultures there today.  In addition to telling her own story, she will relate the history and current activities of the Lemba, a Jewish community who entered Africa via Yemen hundreds of years ago.
