Iranian-born American scholar and author, Dr. Saba Soomekh, PhD, will be discussing the history of Jews in pre-modern Persia, Iran under the rule of the twentieth century Pahlavi dynasty, and the fate of Iranian Jews during the Islamic Revolution.

Dr. Soomekh is currently the Assistant Director of the AJC, Global Jewish Advocacy.
