Congratulations to 2017 Michael D. Eisner College of Education Honored Undergraduate Student!

 

Faith Escher has been selected as the 2017 Michael D. Eisner College of Education Undergraduate Honored Student. She is majoring in Deaf Studies with a concentration in Pre-Deaf Education. While maintaining a 4.0 CSUN GPA, Faith took on several leadership roles with the Deaf Studies Association (DSA); first as a board at large liaison, then as a treasurer. Through DSA, she was very involved with planning, promoting, and executing events such as the Social Justice Conference from the community and the Deaf Studies Retreat for classmates and community members. She also volunteered with the Los Angeles Deaf Festival and maintained her employment on campus with both the American Sign Language Lab and the Oviatt Library.
