Curt
earned his BS/BA degree at UCSB and went on to earn his MBA at Santa
Clara University and his Ph.D. at the University of Cincinnati. He
taught at Cincinnati before joining us in 1978. While pursuing his
academic career, Curt has worked as a consultant for Walt Disney
Telecommunications and Non-Theatrical Comp., Burbank and did Marketing
Research for Pacific Telephone. He teaches primarily Marketing Research
(MKT 346), but, on occasion, has taught Marketing Management (MKT 304)
and the Marketing Management Seminar (MKT 449). He also teaches in the
Graduate Program.
Curt
is a prolific researcher, having authored about 40 publications in
refereed journals and conference proceedings. His current research
interests include survey methodology, business etiquette, pedagogy, and
identity theft.
When
Curt is not in front of the classroom or doing research, he may be
found on the badminton courts. As a player in the senior and masters
categories, he has won approximately 50 national or international
badminton events. He is currently ranked #1 in his age group in the
United States in both men’s doubles and mixed doubles.
