Computer Supported Collaborative Science
This project will train teachers in the CSCS method of instruction, which uses online collaboration tools to create authentic science experiences in the classroom. Online tools such as wikis, collaborative documents, and shared spreadsheets allow students to collect science data and collaborate with their peers to analyze and draw conclusions. These activities will engage students in the process of science rather than just following a set of lab instructions.
