Intersections of Gender, Race, Class + Sexuality

This class will be taught in the Winter Session from January 3rd to 21st. Meeting times are on Mondays & Wednesdays from 7-9 p.m. (refer to Class Schedule for exact dates). The rest of the time, you will engage in doing asynchronous work for the class (meaning on your own time) which will include posting to discussion boards, doing research online, and other home work. Basic Information for taking this as an online class. Responsibilities for this class. Discussion Boards - Instructions on how they work. This course proceeds at a super-fast pace. Please make sure that you have the time to devote to keep up with the readings, because each class session covers the equivalent of material usually covered in 3 weeks of a normal semester. However, you are getting 3 credits at the end of this class, therefore the requirements of the course are at the level of a 3 credit course. You will probably need to budget 4-6 hours of working on your own time per in-class session. So you need to make sure that you have the time/energy to devote to that. If you cannot keep up with this pace, please drop the class.

Videos: When you watch the videos for this class, please take notes. There is no discussion board to specifically discuss the videos. However, they will come up in the online class discussion as well as on the test. You can also weave them into your posts on the discussion boards for those weeks.
