Geography 417: California for Educators |
Preparation Quizzes |
Below are links to a series of practice quizzes that are intended to help you prepare for the more valuable quizzes you will be asked to take in-class. They are also intended to give you an incentive to stay current on the readings so that you will be prepared to attend class.
One strategy you may consider is to print each quiz out before you read each assignment and pencil in your answers as you go through the readings.
Another strategy is to read the assignment first and then use the quiz to check the degree to which you have retained what you read.
I DO NOT recommend that you simply flip through the pages of the assigned readings hoping to spot the answer to each question because this defeats the purpose of the practice quizzes AND in-class quizzes and exam may cover material beyond what is covered by the limited number of on-line quiz questions.
