Kappa Omicron Nu provides not only recognition and honor, but lifelong opportunities for networking, and personal and professional growth through education and service.
Membership identifies you throughout your life as one who has a distinguished academic record and potential as a professional.
Kappa Omicron Nu membership is a matter of honor, reflecting exceptional academic achievement and recognition of your performance. Honor cords are given to active members to indicate their achievement at commencement ceremonies. (For more information, visit www.kon.org.)
REQUIREMENTS FOR MEMBERSHIP:
FCS & KIN Graduate Students:
• 3.5 GPA overall and in FCS or KIN courses
• 12 units in graduate level 500-600 FCS courses with a "B" or better
FCS & KIN Undergraduate and Graduate DPD Students:
• 3.5 GPA overall and in FCS or KIN courses
• Completion of 45 units and at least one 300-400 level FCS or KIN course with a "B" or better
• Rank in the top 25% of your class
