The American Landscape Project is a free online archive of photographic images chronicling ordinary and extraordinary landscapes. The collection includes work by geographers, educators, and researchers whose photographs document architecture, streetscapes, landmarks, roadside environments, and regional change over time.
This site is being rebuilt as a more accessible, organized, and expandable home for the archive. As the collection grows, more materials, images, and search tools will be added.
