CSUN VITA Clinic, Powered by 450 Volunteers, Breaks Record Again

The CSUN VITA Clinic offered free tax preparation to help 7,500 low-income taxpayers in Los Angeles County claim more than $8.4 million in tax refunds and $3.5 million in tax credits in 2018.

 
 
 
 
 

Bookstein VITA Endowment Yields Scholarships for
Student Volunteers

Nine undergraduate students who demonstrated exceptional dedication
and commitment to the CSUN VITA Clinic in 2018 were awarded the Bookstein VITA Scholarship during an annual awards banquet. The $1,000 awards are a
product of the endowment created

In February, CSUN opened nine new
free tax preparation clinics for veterans

and Classical Languages Department Help Spanish Speakers
File Tax Returns

With generous support from City National Bank, the CSUN VITA Clinic expanded
its services to offer Spanish interpretation at all of its sites. Spanish-language interpreters were provided by CSUN's Department of Modern

Bank of Hope donated $20,000 to CSUN to help serve additional sites in the San Fernando Valley, including one in
