February 25, 2016

Spring 2016 Announcement

HIRI Nonprofit Research Fellowships - CSUN College of Social & Behavioral Sciences

The HIRI Nonprofit Research Fellowships provide support for faculty research studies on a wide range of topics about nonprofits and philanthropy.  Fellowship funds can be used to buy a faculty recipient out of teaching a course, or to cover research expenses such as travel, among other uses.

Six Fellowships have been awarded so far. Public lectures by the first two winners were given in October 2015, and more lectures are being scheduled for 2016.

Applications for the next round of HIRI Fellowships may submitted beginning April 1, with a deadline for submission of April 30, 2016.  One or more grants of up to $5,000 may be awarded by May 31, 2016.  Applicants must be members of the faculty of CSUN’s College of Social and Behavioral Sciences.  More information about the Fellowships, and about the simple application and review process are presented at:
