SME Club Spring 2022 design competition

To Enter

TO ENTER:

  1. Create a design in Autodesk Fusion360 or the design software of your choice, but then upload your design to Autodesk Fusion 360.
  2. Upload and Publish in the SME-Autodesk folder under the 'Contest' category folder.
  3. Use the description field to tell us about your design process.
  4. Choose one of the following topics to base your design on as a reference:
    • 3D printed and topology optimized heat exchanger, valves, air intakes, mounts.
    • Replica car parts or replacement car parts.
    • 3D printed medical devices, implant, prosthetics.
    • Composite or 3D printed aeronautical/aerospace part, device, or rocket.
    • Any design as you may seem interested in pursuing.
  5. Do take into consideration the manufacturability of your design as the feasibility of manufacturing using any mainstream manufacturing technology will be a major factor in the design criteria.
  6. Tag your object with your Name, Major, Team name (if submission is with a team), and department.

The 15 submissions with the most likes will be entered into the judging based on the following characteristics:

  • Printability/ manufacturability
  • Design Execution
  • Creativity

PRIZES:

  • 3rd Place: X$ Gift Voucher
