California Science Project - TRI Leadership Development Institute for Teachers of Graes 6, 7, and 8
The San Fernando Science Project (SFVSP) at Cal State Northridge
(CSUN) offers $850 stipend and $250 supplies to train teacher leaders in Science
Content Standards leadership workshops. Workshops will emphasize California
Science Content Standards in Earth, Life and Physical Sciences with connections
to the LAUSD science instructional guide and textbooks. In addition, the workshop
will focus on teacher leadership development and strategies to teach science
for English Language Learners (ELL) and inquiry-based investigations and experimentation. Apply
