U.S. Secretary of Education to Visit Cal State Northridge to
Discuss Campus Safety in Wake of Virginia Tech Tragedy
What:
U.S. Secretary of Education Margaret Spellings will visit the campus of California State University Northridge discuss campus safety and emergency preparedness in the wake of the Virginia Tech tragedy last month. The meeting, which is open to the media, and will conclude with media availability at 4 p.m., will be attended by nationally recognized and local educational and public safety leaders. The meeting is being hosted by Cal State Northridge President Jolene Koester.
