Community Leaders & Celebrities Gather for Dedication/Naming
of New Mike Curb College at Cal State Northridge

What:

California State University, Northridge will host the formal dedication and naming ceremony for the university’s new Mike Curb College of Arts, Media, and Communication. The naming honors the record $10 million gift to the university made earlier this year by Curb Records Founder and Chairman Mike Curb. The celebration will feature student entertainment and special "tributes" to the famed singer, composer, producer and record label owner.

When:

Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2006

7:30 pm dedication/naming ceremony

California State University, Northridge campus
Outside Cypress and Nordhoff Halls (music and theater buildings)
Nordhoff Street, between Lindley and Etiwanda Avenues

Who:

An audience of more than 300 people--including community leaders, entertainment industry figures and celebrities, along with CSUN students, faculty, staff and alumni—will celebrate with music industry icon Mike Curb and CSUN President Jolene Koester.
