SPJ hosts L.A. Times reporter Adolfo Flores

Adolfo Flores, a reporter for the Los Angeles Times and CSUN alum, will visit CSUN on Thursday, March 27 at 5:30 p.m. to discuss the case of the two Fullerton police officers charged in the beating death of Kelly Thomas. Thomas, a schizophrenic homeless man, was killed in July 2011. The not-guilty verdict in the case of the two officers lead to a great deal of public outrage and protests, events covered by Flores for the Times. The event, organized by the Society of Professional Journalists, will be held in Sequoia Hall 104.
