A panel of Holocaust child survivors

Monday, November 3, 2014 - 4:00pm to 5:30pm

Location:
ROOM CHANGE: Jerome Richfield 315
Cost:
Free
This event is a panel discussion between three people who endured the Holocaust as children:

Temporary Panel

Natalie Gold, Eva Brettler, and Marie Kaufman.  Each has a unique story to tell. Both Natalie and Marie were helped by the Church and passed as Christians, the former in Poland and the latter in France.  Eva, born in Hungary survived the concentration camps Ravensbruck and Bergen-Belsen, both in Germany.  After the war, each, through various routes, settled in the United States.   All of their experiences provoke questions about the role of rescuers, onlookers and perpetrators during this period of history as well as the effect of genocide on children.
