This Friday, October 20th, at 7:00 PM in Jerome Richfield Hall, Room 319, "The Reimagining Narrative Film Series," returns with Apichatpong Weerasethakul's Cemetery Of Splendor (2016), a "profound and mesmerizing dreamscape" which premiered in the Un Certain Regard section at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival to critical acclaim.

Curated collaboratively by Dr. Christopher Higgs & Katharine Mason, M.A., each film in The Reimagining Narrative Film Series will be introduced & contextualized prior to screening, with an open discussion to follow. Refreshments provided.

Free & open to the public, the 2017-2018 series is dedicated to the study & discussion of dream narrative. The series seeks to provide an opportunity for shared critical & creative thought & discussion by bringing together an interdisciplinary audience of students, faculty, & members of the community interested in narrative construction. Snacks will be provided.
