Dr. Shane Frehlich, California State University, Northridge (CSUN) Kinesiology Professor and Faculty President died September 4, 2015 due to complications arising from Acute Myeloid Leukemia. He was 46.
Dr. Frehlich's professional expertise was in the area of motivation and cognitive and social psychology. His strong passion for issues related to higher education and the role of kinesiology within it was evident during his tenure as Vice President of the National Association for Kinesiology in Higher Education.
