    FINAL EXAM: The final examination is given 
      at the time assigned by the Registrar, as printed in the Course 
        Schedule Book for the current term. No early exams are allowed, by 
      University rule. If you are unable to take the final exam, you may be 
      eligible for an "Incomplete" grade, IF you fill out and submit a petition 
      (form obtainable from the Departmental Office, Sierra Tower 403), which 
      may be signed by the Instructor, if a valid excuse is presented with the
