Dr. S. Scott Bartchy lecture on Jesus and Paul

Dr. S. Scott Bartchy, Professor Emeritus UCLA, History Department, will be coming to CSUN Tuesday, May 2nd to give a talk on the historical connections between the historical Jesus and Paul.

In his provocative CSUN lecture, "How Much Did Paul Know about the Historical Jesus and How and When Did He know It?, Bartchy will present a preview of one of the books titled Call No Man Father!

S. Scott Bartchy, PhD [Harvard], taught New Testament studies in the theological faculty of the University of Tuebingen, Germany, before coming to UCLA and creating the field of Christian Origins and New Testament in UCLA's Department of History. His many publications deal with major social issues that Jesus and his early followers confronted, and he currently has two books under contract.
