The eigen values you want are in
the part of the table called "Rotation Sums of Squared Loadings."
Factor 1 has an eigen value of 3.96 and Factor 2 has an eigen value of
3.04. An eigen value is an index which reflects how much of variance
in the survey (here, Likert) items can be accounted for each factor.
The "% of Variance" column translates the eigen values into percentage
form so most of us can understand it better. Thus, Factor 1 can account
for 30.46% of the variance in the Likert items, while Factor 2 can account
for 23.4% of the variance in the Likert items. Together, then, Factor
1 and Factor 2 can account for 53.86% of the variance in the Likert items.
The criterion is that an eigen value must be at least 1.00 to be taken
seriously.
