Investigation of thermal properties of neutron and nuclear matter through hadronic many-body Monte Carlo calculations based on path-integral lattice formulation and effective field theory. The first collaboration meeting was held at the Institute of Nuclear Theory, University of Wahington in June, 2002. The collaboration members are currently eleven, located in US, Europe, and Japan, making consolidated efforts on the investigation of various aspects of the subject, focusing on each expertise.
