Acknowledgements

We are pleased to present the exhibition "Liu Bolin: the Sociology of the Invisible Body," featuring the photography performance and sculptural work of contemporary Chinese artist Liu Bolin. This exhibition is an art historical research-oriented and student-engaged project, organized by Exhibition Design classes, Spring 2012 with the guidance of their instructor, associate professor of Art History, Dr. Meiqin Wang.

We would like to thank Dr. Robert Bucker, Dean of the Mike Curb College of Arts, Media, and Communication for his continued support, as well as Dr. Kenneth Sakatani. Art Department Chair, Jim Sweeters, CSUN Art Galleries Director, and Michelle Giacopuzzi, Exhibitions Coordinator.

The Instructionally Related Activities committee at CSUN generously provided funds for the implementation of the exhibition. The Art Galleries provided the space and operational support for the display of the exhibition. The Art Department provided curriculum setting for the development of this project.
