Textbook “CATIA V5-6R2014 for Designers” – Sham Tickoo, Purdue University Publisher: CADCIM Technologies, ISBN-13: 978- 1936646890
This course is designed to contribute primarily to the students’: Learn the proper application skills of CATIA sketcher, part design, assembly, drafting, and generative shape workbenches. Understand the fundamentals of parametric design intent in creating proper geometric constraints to maintain valid design constraints. Demonstrate effective communication of design specification through application of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance. Understand the objectives and advantages of parametric modeling and the relationships created between sketches, parts, assemblies, and engineering drawings.
