  2. Read Myth & Knowing: Chapter 1
  3. Read Introductions of the chapter assigned to your presentation groups
  • Chapter 2 "Creation Myths" (pp. 32-45): "Popul Vu" pp. 90-99-Joel, Emma, Hallie, Millie
  • Chapter 3 "The Female Divine" (pp.102-121): “The Fire Goddess” pp.122-132-Jeffrey, Antonieta, Sebastian, Natalie
  • Chapter 4- "The Male Divine" (pp.239-243):  "Orunmila Gives the Orishas Their Powers and His Friendship with Eshu", pp. 227–232-Evan, Rogelio, Lillian
  • Chapter 5 "Trickster Myths" (pp. 247-253): “The Treasures of the Gods,” pgs. 277-283-Gabriela, Rachel, Diana
