This site has been online since 2003, offering news and resources to fans and practitioners of sociological theory of all kinds, and introducing the Theory Section, its members, and their work to those outside this field as well as those beyond our discipline.

- The 2009 Theory Section award winners have been announced, and the schedule and registration form for the third Junior Theorists Symposium have been released.

- The Spring 2009 newsletter is now available.
- The International Social Theory Consortium has issued its Call for Papers for the 8th Annual Conference, May 21-23, 2009, in Knoxville, TN.
- Frens Kroeger has discovered and scanned an old newsletter missing from our archive; April 1992 (15:2) is thus now available; thanks, Frens!
- 2008 winners of the Theory Prize and Shils-Coleman Award have been announced, and information on the 2008 Mini-Conference and Junior Theorists' Symposium has been added, as well as about the Coser Lecture & Salon.
