Biology 100 is a comprehensive survey of the major concepts of the biological sciences including: the fundamental chemical principles underlying the life sciences; cell structure and function; cellular and organismic energy flow; DNA, the principles of heredity, reproduction, and development; evolution and the interplay between organisms and the environment. The unifying theme of this course is the relationship between structure and function in the life sciences.
