Campus Care Advocate Supports CSUN Community

CSUN’s first Campus Care Advocate, Katie LaRue, is starting her second full academic year as a resource for CSUN students, faculty and staff. LaRue’s private office is located in the Klotz Student Health Center, where she already has assisted survivors of sexual misconduct, domestic violence, dating violence and stalking.

UNAM

UNAM Students Study Film and English at CSUN

This summer, CSUN hosted 40 students for a three-week intensive program in film and a four-week English class as part of its partnership with the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, the largest university in Latin America.

Matafest 2016, Aug. 31

Kick off the start of the new semester by attending Matafest from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the USU, Plaza del Sol. Free food and live entertainment will be provided, as well as a raffle to win cool prizes.

Free Games Day at the Games Room, Sept. 1

Relieve any of your stress by heading to the USU, Games Room for free billiards, table tennis and video games all day.

Games Room Billiards Tournament, Sept. 6

Chalk up your cue stick and rack ’em up for our 9-ball billiards tournaments this semester at the Games Room. The winner of each tournament will receive a new two-piece pool cue and case. The tournament starts at 4 p.m.
