Chris and Owen Smith Leave a Lasting Legacy

Chris and Owen Smith’s story is characterized by love. Both graduates and longtime professors at CSUN, they loved each other, their alma mater and their community. They passed away within 81 days of each other, but prior to their passing, they made sure to give back to the school and community that helped shape their lives.

CSU Chancellor’s Three-Year Review of President Harrison

California State University Chancellor Timothy White has sent a letter to faculty, staff, students, and community about the completion of CSUN President Dianne F. Harrison’s three-year review, which was initiated last year. Taking into account feedback from a variety of stakeholders, Chancellor White and the CSU Board of Trustees “are fully confident in the promising future of CSUN under President Harrison’s leadership.”
