Come and join us for "50 Years of Life-Changing Opportunity" at California State University, Northridge! Attend events, exhibits, share a story (or two) and take an historical tour of Cal State Northridge on our timeline. Please stay tuned for further updates.

Upcoming Events

September 22 - Founders Day, the start of a new Cal State Northridge tradition:

  • A luncheon program for returning alumni, faculty and staff from the earliest days of the campus
  • The debut of the “50-Year Club,” inducting the club’s first members from the classes of 1956, 1957 and 1958
  • The opening of an important Oviatt Library exhibition about Cal State Northridge’s history
  • The dedication of James and Mary Cleary Walk in honor of CSUN’s second president and his wife
  • The unveiling of CSUN’s time capsule, buried 25 years ago during the university’s quarter-century mark ceremonies

April 25, 2009:

  • A Grand Reunion,
    A celebration inviting all alumni and the community

Commencement 2009:

  • The official conclusion of the 2008-09 anniversary year
