APL Description
The APL is committed to utilizing the application of advanced statistical methods and measurement models to furthering our understanding of psychological phenomenon. As a psychometrics and statistical laboratory we work as consultants for a multitude of psychological research studies in addition to conducting independent research of our own in a number of areas (e.g.,social, personality, clinical).
Principal Investigator
Dr. Andrew Ainsworth earned his PhD in Measurement and Psychometrics (Quantitative Psychology) from the University of California, Los Angeles. His areas of expertise are general multivariate statistics (e.g., MANOVA, discriminant function analysis, logistic regression, factor analysis), Structural Equation Modeling, Item Response Theory (along with general test theory) and multilevel modeling.
