Many faculty have found that a shareware program called mIRC is the most powerful and flexible Windows-based program for teaching on IRC. The author, Khaled Mardam-Bey, has granted CSU Northridge a site license, so both students and faculty can use it for free. Thank you, Khaled, for creating such a wonderful program and for your generous gift to the University.
