  •  Objective 1:  Design coherent instruction and learning activities collaboratively that are highly relevant to students and pedagogical goals.
  •  Objective 2:  Improve professional practice by working with colleagues to analyze and modify instructional plans and teaching in order to enhance student understanding of subject matter.

Activities
  • In Lesson Design Research Groups:
  • Work together on your group's lesson study plan  using the following criteria:
  • relationship to previous and subsequent lessons;
  • possible adaptations;
  • management strategies;
  • engagement/achievement of all learners; and
  • assessment strategies.
