Orientation Programs

Orientation is designed for ALL NEW STUDENTS regardless of whether you have just graduated from high school, are transferring from another college, are returning to university life after a few years away, or sending your student off to college... We want to provide you with pertinent information and support services available to assist you in making your time with Cal State Northridge enjoyable and successful. Attendance at a campus orientation is one of the most critical factors in your future success at college. In fact, research shows students are 70%-80% less likely to leave college within the first year after having attended an orientation. We want to do all we can to help you as you begin your college experience. A goal of the summer orientation staff is that you feel welcome at Cal State Northridge and leave our university orientation program with all your questions answered. We look forward to meeting you in August.
