BOARD OF GOVERNORS OR TRUSTEES MEETING 10 POINTS
Attend a University Board of Governors or Community College Trustees Meeting. Write a 2 page report and attach a copy of the printed agenda. Students may attend the meetings with other class members, however, each student is to write an individual report. The report should include contextual background information about the college or university from information obtained from the institution's web-site, Summary of meeting events, Describe the relationship between the board chair and the college Chancellor/President. What do you observe about their respective roles and connect your observation to class readings.
Topic Literature Review 70 POINTS2 -3 pages Literature Review (not including references). In-text citations AND Reference page must be in APA format.
NOTE: a Literature Review is NOT an annotative bibliography. It is an essay that
critically discusses the a) major content themes and b) major theories that CROSS the publications read. This is a topical analysis in which you will complete a scholarly synthesis and critique of a broad topic.
Include:
a) week's readings;
b) 1 peer-review journal article;
c) 2 higher education professional organization publications (may include,
but are not limited to Chronicle of Higher Education; Inside Higher Education; Community College Times)
