Student Veteran Organization (SVO)
Let us introduce SVO President April Chamchalaem. April is a highly motivated Student Veteran who is involved with helping Veterans through many organizations CSUN offers. Not only did is she take the initiative to be a leader for the SVO, but she also is the Vice President of Sigma Tau Alpha Veteran Fraternity and a Student Assistant for the Veterans Resource Center. April, a proud sailor, served in the Navy as a Machinist Mate and was stationed in Bremerton, Washington. April is majoring in Communication Disorders emphasizing in Speech-Language Pathology. She dreams of one day becoming a successful career woman while providing all the wants for her family. When April has free time from all her executive duties from the two Veteran organizations, she enjoys designing and pampering her nails and exploring new places.
