“Women to Women” at the VRC Offers a Welcoming and Supportive Space for Female Student Veterans

WHAT:
The Veterans Resource Center (VRC) of the University Student Union (USU) invites all female student veterans to network and share their own stories with other women at its “Women to Women” event. The VRC created this welcoming and supportive space to encourage female veterans to utilize the many resources offered to all student veterans at CSUN. Come join us to help inform and empower the female veteran community through connecting with other female veterans.

WHO:
Mayra Plascencia, VRC Manager, is responsible for this event.

WHEN:
This event will take place on Friday, Oct. 11, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

WHERE:
This event will be held at the Veterans Resource Center.

WHY:
To connect the female veteran community at CSUN and introduce them to the resources offered at the VRC.

BACKGROUND:
Free food and beverages will be provided at the “Women to Women” event as it makes its first appearance this year.
